今年のハロウィンパーティーはとってもいいお天気になりました
それぞれ個性的でとっても似合うコスチュームを着て参加してくれました
さあ！早速Trick or Treatへ出発
お店の人にちゃんと言えるかな？
たっくさん貰ったお菓子をみな嬉しそうに、、、SNACK TIME
そして、コスチュームショーの始まりですポーズもバッチリきまってます
みんな堂々と歩いてコスチュームを披露してくれました
そして、最後はゲームです！さて、スケルトンは完成するのでしょうか・・・？
皆、Right、、、Left、、、Up、、、Downと英語を使って教えてあげています

It's almost Halloween y'all! We had our party last weekend, and it was a blast. For everyone who came out, thank you! I hope everyone else had as much fun as I did.
Another tradition we have here is playing Halloween Bingo at the end of classes during October. Now, when you play something like this so often, you start to notice a few details. For example, on the 3x3 board, you only need 7 bingo chips. If you have seven squares covered, you definitely have bingo.
You also notice that it is possible to get a Triple Bingo. The setup is almost impossible -- you have to get two opposite corners, three chips each, and then finish with the middle square. I noticed this possibility a few years ago, and I always hyped it up with my students. The rare, the mythical Triple Bingo! Will we see it today?? But we never saw it.
Never...until last week.

When will the next Triple Bingo appear? We still have one more day of Halloween bingo...and then Christmas Bingo is just around the corner. Stay tuned!

今朝は英検Jr.の試験があり、試験を受けるMちゃんが、スクールに入って来るなり、『今、虹が見えてるよ～！！』と教えてくれました
皆でベランダに出てみると、とっても大きくてキレイな虹が見えました
朝からとっても幸せな気分に
英検Jr.の試験も、皆ものすごく真剣に受けていていました！結果が楽しみですね♪
そして、明日は待ちに待ったハロウィンパーティーです
みんなどんなコスチュームで来てくれるのか今からとっても楽しみです(^^♪
明日のお天気もパレード日和になりそうです

皆さんこんにちは！
最近は青空で気持ちのよい天気が続いていますね！
いよいよあさって日曜日は、松本校のハロウィンパーティーです
今年はどんな仮装がみられるか楽しみです。
この間、ロビーでこんなことがありました。
レッスン前に早く来て学校の宿題をする小学1年生のTくん。
今週も変わらず、熱心に漢字練習をしていました。
すると、
こんな声が…♪
Matt先生:"How do you say 見 in English?"
Tくん："Look!!"
漢字練習をしていたかと思ったら、
漢字ドリルを使って英語のクイズを考えていました！
さらにTくんは
"See and watch!!"と2つも「見る」という英語を探していました。
他にも「天」や「糸」、「田」などなど…。
先生たちは漢字を学び、子供たちはその漢字から英語を学び、
お互いにほかの言語を学びあう姿に心が温まりました！
私も、今度漢字練習をしてる生徒を見つけたら、
そんな風に質問をしてみたいと思いました

今は果物がおいしい時期ですね。
果物アレルギーが治り
十数年ぶりに生の果物を堪能しております。
さて、今日は松本校のTOEICレッスン担当講師を紹介させていただきます。

気が付けばもう10月
毎年この時期になると今年のハロウィンの仮装はどうしようかと悩む反面、何になろうかとちょっぴりワクワク
そうです！今月末は毎年大人気のイベント『ハロウィンパーティー』があります
日時：10月28日（日） 10：00~12：00
場所：イングリッシュフォーユー
参加費：1,000円
持ち物：キャンディーバック（お菓子を入れる袋）
参加ご希望の方は、10月20日（土）までに、参加費を添えてお申込みください。
（定員35名になり次第締め切らせて頂きます）
※お申込み後の返金は出来ませんのでご了承ください。
※雨天決行です。ただし、雷、豪雨の場合は『Trick or Treat』を室内で行います。

Or autumn, whichever you prefer. Either way, I love this time of year. The trees on the mountains are beautiful. The weather, except for these crazy typhoons, is perfect. And of course, some of my favorite sports seasons start.
Another early fall tradition I've grown to love is the local house darts tournament, which was held at Burger Chop last weekend. My partner and I won our group, but lost a very close match in the first round of the knockout stages.
Do you remember Kevin? I hope so! He was the guy who first got me into darts. He also introduced me to Sabu, the owner of Burger Chop and organizer of the tournament. Good people.
Ever since I was a little kid, I've always had some sort of sport to play. When I moved to Japan, I didn't have that for a long time. My stomach shows the effects of missing out on tennis or soccer. And while darts isn't the most athletic sport, I love a good challenge and competition.
So if you're looking for a new hobby, give darts a shot! I'd be more than happy to help you out.
