Hello everyone,
I was thinking today as I was writing the date in my notebook, today is a leap day!
We only have a leap day once every 4 years. We have a leap day to keep in sync with the Earth's rotation around the Sun.
We have a student who is born on a leap day (2/29). She is 12 years old now. However, if the 29th of February is only once ever 4 years, wouldn't that make her 3 years old? Sounds strange right?
What do you think? 12 years old or 3?
If she is 3 years old then she is the smartest and tallest 3 year old I have ever met!

I guess the cat's out of the bag.
No, not Maru! Not a real cat, or a real bag.
The phrase means, a secret is not a secret any more. Everybody knows the news.
As you all know now, I'll be leaving at the end of next month. It's hard to believe! I've worked at English For You for almost 1/3rd of my life now. That's even harder to believe!
I don't want to leave any of you, but it is time for me to try a new challenge. Don't worry though, I'm not leaving Japan. In fact, I'll still be living in Matsumoto. So, if you see me out in public, please be sure to say hello!
I will miss all of my students, and I am very sad I won't have the chance to watch you continue to grow and improve in English. But you have all made me very happy that I chose to work in Japan, and that I had the chance to meet you at English For You.
Please stay in touch everybody, and I hope to see you around. Take care!

健康管理に心掛けたい毎日です。
石けんによる手洗いや、うがい
手指消毒用アルコールによる消毒などを行うことや
十分な睡眠をとること等
一人ひとりが出来ることをしていきたいと思います。
当校では感染防止のため
当面おもちゃの設置を控えさせていただきます。
待ち時間おもちゃはありませんが
先生達といっぱいお話してくださいね。

みなさんこんにちは
みなさんにとって「英語」とはどんなものですか？
私はこの間、改めてこんなことを感じました。
英語は、世界中の人達と自分を繋げてくれる「架け橋」なんだと。
ある日の事...。
学校には、Josh先生、Gavin先生、Tony先生とわたしがいました。
なんだか楽しそうに、3人の先生たちがお話をしています。
3人の出身国は、アメリカやイギリス、そしてニュージーランドとばらばら。
でも、何の隔たりもなく話ができていることに、私は「はっ」としてしまいました。
他の国の人と、自分の母国語でお話ができるなんて、羨ましい！！
日本語で、出身国の違う人たちと話すことができるってどんな気持ちなんだろう...。
と想像してしまいました。
羨ましい！という気持ちと同時に、
出身国の違う人とでも話ができる「英語」を、私自身も学べていること、
そして何より、その世界と繋がれる方法を、
小さい頃から身に付けようと一生懸命なみんなの姿を、
とても誇らしく、嬉しく思いました。
みなさんにとっての「英語」とは何か、

皆様こんにちは。
今日は２人の高校３年生の最後のレッスンがありました。
彼女たちは幼稚園の頃からEFY松本校に通ってくれていた生徒達です。
彼女たちの成長を今まで見てこれたことが本当に嬉しいです。
２人とも４月からそれぞれの道へ進みます。
夢と希望に胸を膨らませてワクワクしている２人を見ていると
私も幸せです♫
いつかまた成長した２人に会える日を楽しみにしているよ〜❤️

皆様こんにちは。
お元気ですか？
先日、山梨の百蔵山（ももくら山）と扇山に登ってきました。
天気が良く、２月とは思えないぐらいの暖かさで
標高はそれほど高くはありませんが
のぼりがいのある山でいい汗をかきました！
山頂からは富士山がしっかり見え
「ありがとうごございます～。」
とご挨拶。
富士山を見ると拝みたくなるのは私だけでしょうか。。。（笑）

Hello everybody!
It's a pleasure to join the EFY team in Matsumoto. I look forward to the challenge of helping all students as well as challenging myself in and outside the classroom. I plan to take part in the Matsumoto marathon as well as experience new things while I:m here.

松本校は毎週火曜日に講師&スタッフ全員でTeaching
のトレーニングをしています。
その他にもほぼ毎日最近では
新しい講師のトレーニングが行われていますが
今日は少し様子をのぞいてみました。
トレーナーも講師も真剣そのものです。
生徒様に満足していただけるレッスンをするために
日々研鑽しております！

先日、研修のため東京に行ってまいりました。
気のせいでしょうか、人が少なく感じましたが。。。
そしてそしてなんと桜が咲いているではないですか！
今年初の桜を見ることができて
